About The Role

/n

AEMO's Digital Division is accountable to operate, maintain, and deliver digital capabilities. This includes technology foresight, plans, delivery of digital change, operation of AEMO's Energy Markets and key internal stakeholder engagement. As part of the Digital Division, Enterprise Application Services, EAS holds the accountability of successful management for AEMO's critical IT applications.

Broadly the responsibilities extend to both Retail and Wholesale Solutions in which EAS design, develop, test, deliver and support: NEM, MSATS, eMDM, DWGM, STTM, GSH and GBB.

You will provide Application Support by driving technology leadership, coordinate functions within the team and with stakeholders, coach and develop other staff and take on challenging and difficult technical issues. You will help maintain, operate, uplift, scale and develop resilient processes ensuring that AEMO's Energy Market Systems are reliable, supportable, and available.

What You Will Be Doing

/n

/n

- Set detailed Operational, Maintenance and Upgrade plans for AEMO's Energy Market Systems.

/n

- Work to solve underlying problems in AEMO's Energy Market Pre-Production and Production Application Systems,



improving outcomes in critical areas such as technical quality, cost, agility and service.

/n

- Read stakeholder situations accurately, anticipating their needs and identify opportunities to significantly enhance the quality of EAS Application Support Services, the department and the broader division.

/n

- Undertake both formal and informal risk assessments where there is potential impact to Application Support processes and AEMO's Energy Market Systems.

/n

- Assess and communicate risk where decisions have potential impact on stakeholders and ensure action is taken accordingly.

What You Will Bring To The Role

/n

/n

- Degree in Information Systems, Technology, or relevant discipline.

/n

- Experience supporting 24x7 Technology Systems, managing MS Windows, Azure and AKS.

/n

- Experience of incident, problem, capacity and change management (ITIL desirable) and ability to maintain technical documentation.

/n

- Experience using CI/CD pipelines for deployment.

/n

- Experience in Application Support or as a Dev Ops Engineer or similar roles.
