Position Overview: EMO Civil is a family-owned civil contractor with more than 35 years of experience delivering excavation, demolition, landscaping, bulk earthworks, roadworks and infrastructure projects across Sydney. As a Civil Engineering Technician at EMO Civil, you will support the planning, delivery and quality assurance of civil construction projects while working closely with engineers, supervisors and project teams. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Assist engineers in planning and coordinating civil construction projects.
- Prepare, review and maintain technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and collect engineering survey and construction data.




- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety requirements.
- Support quality assurance processes by inspecting materials and completed works.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers involved in excavation, earthworks, roadworks and infrastructure projects.
- Assist in estimating material quantities and project costs and preparing progress reports.
- Identify technical issues on site and recommend practical solutions to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Civil Engineering Technician.
- Knowledge of civil construction methods and Australian standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Robust communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with engineering and Microsoft Office software.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $79,000 to $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
