A well-established Brisbane-based manufacturing business is seeking an Assistant Accountant / Junior Financial Accountant to join their close-knit finance team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is a hands‑on role suited to someone looking to broaden their accounting experience in a varied position. You'll support the day-to-day finance function across transactional and month-end responsibilities.

Key duties include:

- Processing payroll
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Invoice processing and postings
- Debtor monitoring and follow-up
- General ledger reconciliations




- Assisting with month-end processes
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance tasks

About You

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or similar
- Currently studying towards CPA / CA (or planning to commence)
- Experienced in a broad accounting support or assistant accountant role
- Comfortable working across both transactional and accounting duties
- Reliable, hands‑on and happy to work in a collaborative SME environment
- Strong communicator with a positive attitude
