This is a hands-on field-based role offering variety, autonomy and the prospect to work across a wide regional footprint. You will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting telecommunications infrastructure, including power systems, generators, and HVAC equipment while ensuring reliability across the network. Travel is required as an essential part of this role.

About the Role

- Perform routine and planned maintenance across the Telstra network infrastructure
- Attend to emergencies and reactive works
- Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, HVAC, solar and power systems
- Fault finding, maintenance and repairs
- Ensure all safety, compliance and statutory requirements are met




- Reporting as required

Required Skills and Experience

You are a motivated and self-driven technician who enjoys working autonomously and tackling diverse technical challenges. Ideally you will have experience in the telecommunications industry.

- Current QLD Electrical licence
- Current LVR CPR and First Aid
- Construction white card
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Competent using digital tools and systems (Microsoft Suite, Maximo)
- HVAC qualification (preferred or willing to undertake restricted licence to perform required works)
- Full working rights in Australia
