Wenona is seeking outstanding and enthusiastic casual Touch Football coaches for the Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027 seasons.

The sporting program at Wenona is a vibrant and central part of school life, characterised by high levels of student engagement and participation that focuses on team spirit, fair play, courage, adventure and balanced, healthy lifestyles. The Touch Football program at Wenona is one of the largest participation sports at the school with over 25 teams. The top teams play in the top divisions within the IGSA competition and are regularly featured in the finals series.

The role would require availability on one or more of the following sessions:

- Mondays 3:30pm – 5pm
- Tuesdays 3:30pm – 5pm and/or 5pm – 6:30pm
- Thursdays 3:30pm – 5pm and/or 5pm – 6:30pm

Note: Top teams train twice per week.

Coaching positions require you to be available on Saturdays, normally a morning commitment (between 7am and 12pm). Pay and conditions are determined by experience, qualifications and level of professional representation as determined by the Principal in consultation with the Director of Sportand Performance Kto12.

Successful applicants will be required to provide the School with a current Working with Children Certificate, a NSW Police Check and required to undertake a coach induction process.

- Certificate IV in Fitness
- Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
- Physical Education Degree
- Registered Exercise / Fitness Professional
- Certificate III in Sport Coaching

Essential Requirements

- First Aid Certificate
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check

Desirable Criteria

- Relevant Coaching Accreditation
- Certificate IV in Fitness
- Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
- Physical Education Degree
- Registered Exercise / Fitness Qualified
- Certificate III in Sport Coaching
