The Opportunity

As Finance Manager for Hallmark Hospitality, this role is pivotal in guiding the financial strategy and management of the company. Expertise in Australian finance regulations and practices will be critical in ensuring the financial health, sustainability, and growth of the business.

This leadership position requires a energetic individual with strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Finance Manager forms part of the Senior Leadership team and reports to the Directors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Drive the annual budgeting process, forecast financial performance, and provide recommendations to directors for informed decision-making.

Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting,

Presentation of financial results and insights to the Directors and SLT

Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice.





Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls

Overseeing Bookkeeping, Payroll, and Generalist Accounting functions

About you

To be successful in this position you will have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred

Proven experience (5+ years) in senior financial management roles, with a deep understanding of Australian finance regulations

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance requirements

Demonstrated success in developing and executing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in financial software and systems; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets etc.

Analytical thinker with a high attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial goals with broader business objectives.
