Workfast is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for an upcoming major shutdown starting in August. We have multiple positions available for highly skilled and reliable tradespeople who have proven experience working in fast-paced industrial, civil, or mining shutdown environments.

- $61-64 per hour + penalties
- Shutdown starting in August

What We're Looking For

- Relevant Trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitting, Pipe Fitting, or Fabrication).
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter on industrial, oil & gas, or mining shutdowns.
- Solid ability to read and accurately interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs;, and mechanical plans.
- Construction White Card.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and QA/QC standards.
- Ability to work productively within a team, meet tight deadlines, and follow site instructions.
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform pipe spooling, cutting, threading, bending, and fit-up of various pipe systems and materials.
- Read and work directly from isometric drawings and site specifications to execute precise installations.
- Prepare joints and work closely with Pipe Welders to ensure high-quality,



accurate fit-ups.
- Install, test, and maintain high and low-pressure pipework, valves, flanges, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Conduct dimensional checks and inspect completed works to ensure they meet stringent engineering tolerances.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free, and tidy work area.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production targets safely.
