UNSW is seeking outstanding Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander researchers across any discipline whose work is making a positive impact in communities and society. Through the Scientia Program, successful applicants will receive dedicated support, career development and research investment to accelerate their academic leadership and research excellence.
Employment Type
: Full time or Part time. The program has flexibility for part time employment, and research breaks for participants to pursue other studies, engage with industry or to follow other interests.
Duration
: Four-year tenure track contract with the possibility of converting to a continuing position
Eligibility
: Level B (Lecturer) and C (Senior Lecturer) across any discipline. Candidates with compelling track records will be considered at levels A (Associate Lecturer) and D (Associate Professor). This is an identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
Remuneration
: Academic Level A – D (plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
