Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Recent UG Gold Projects | Elite Camp. FIFO role on underground mining projects in WA with contemporary Sandvik fleet, elite camp facilities, and long-term career potential. Rate: AU$80–AU$95 per hour plus super; temp-to-perm chance.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, breakdowns, diagnostics & major component change-outs
Workshop & field service across UG mobile plant and drill fleet
Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship & team performance
Work both autonomously and within a tight-knit crew
What You Bring
Trade-qualified HD Fitter (LV with UG experience considered)
Strong mechanical skills with some electrical exposure
Ability to read schematics & troubleshoot faults
Reliable, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Highly regarded: UG hard rock experience, drill exposure, dual trade
