ANR Engineering is a growing civil construction contractor delivering Local Government and infrastructure projects across Sydney. We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects from award through to practical completion.

Reporting directly to the Directors, this role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the quality expected by ANR Engineering and our clients.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing multiple civil construction projects simultaneously.

Planning, programming and coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.

Managing procurement, RFQs, subcontractor engagement and project resourcing.

Liaising with Councils, Superintendents, Consultants, utility authorities and other project stakeholders.

Monitoring project budgets, forecasting, progress claims, variations and overall project profitability.

Preparing and managing contractual correspondence, variations and claims.

Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and contractual requirements.

Attending site meetings, coordinating project activities and providing regular progress reporting.

Identifying project risks and implementing practical mitigation strategies.

Supporting, mentoring and leading supervisors and project staff.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Minimum 5 years’ Project Management experience in civil construction.

Demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, concrete works, kerb and gutter,



footpaths and public domain works.

Experience managing project programs, labour, plant, subcontractors and procurement.

Solid understanding of project budgets, forecasting, variations, claims and project profitability.

Proven ability to manage client, consultant, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting safety, quality, program and budget requirements.

Sound knowledge of WHS, environmental and quality compliance requirements.

Current Driver Licence and White Card.

Preferred Criteria

The following will be highly regarded:

Experience delivering Local Government and/or TfNSW projects.

Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent construction-related qualification.

Existing relationships with Councils, Superintendents, Consultants and utility authorities.

Experience using civil construction software, project management systems and financial reporting tools.

Experience mentoring site supervisors, project engineers or junior project staff.
