About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Manager – Operational Technologies to lead the delivery of a large-scale OT Modernisation Program across multiple operational sites. This strategic program will modernise and standardise Operational Technology environments that support critical infrastructure, delivering improved reliability, cyber resilience and operational efficiency.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, governance and delivery of a complex portfolio of interrelated projects. You will work closely with operational, engineering, cyber security, technology and business stakeholders while managing suppliers and driving organisational change to ensure successful program outcomes.
This role is ideal for an accomplished program leader who thrives in complex environments and has a proven track record delivering large technology or OT transformation programs within critical infrastructure or highly regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the successful delivery of a large-scale Operational Technology modernisation program.
- Establish and manage program governance, delivery plans, schedules, budgets and reporting.
- Deliver program outcomes safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Manage program risks, issues, dependencies and critical delivery milestones.
- Drive the standardisation of Operational Technology solutions, engineering practices and deployment approaches across multiple sites.




- Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders, operational teams, engineers and delivery partners.
- Lead supplier engagement, procurement activities, contract management and vendor performance.
- Provide high-quality reporting and advice to governance boards and executive stakeholders.
- Oversee financial management, forecasting, benefits realisation and resource planning.
- Lead organisational change, operational readiness and business adoption activities.
- Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, safety and cyber security requirements.

About You

- Significant experience delivering large, complex technology, infrastructure or Operational Technology programs.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar transformation programs across multiple operational locations.
- Solid understanding of Operational Technology environments, including industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, communications networks and supporting infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success managing complex vendor ecosystems and commercial contracts.
- Extensive experience in program governance, financial management, executive reporting and risk management.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Experience driving enterprise-wide technology standardisation and organisational change.
- The ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities and complex delivery environments.

Highly Regarded

- Experience within water, utilities, energy, transport or other critical infrastructure sectors.
- Program management qualifications such as PgMP, MSP, PMP or PRINCE2.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Operational Technology cyber security frameworks and critical infrastructure environments.
