We are seeking a hands-on Production Coordinator to lead our afternoon shift team within our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations during the afternoon shift, while maintaining quality standards and supporting team performance.
Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm (Mon-Fri)
About the Role
As Production Coordinator, you will:
Lead, coach and support the afternoon shift team, allocating work and coordinating workflow across the production.
Deliver the production plan on shift, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to required quality standards.
Monitor progress and resolve production issues quickly, escalating risks to delivery timelines where needed.
Ensure effective shift handover and communication with other shifts and departments.
Oversee afternoon shift site responsibilities, including safety checks, incident response, and end-of-shift lock-up.
Champion health,
safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
Work closely with internal teams including Supply, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve operational issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
What You’ll Bring
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (sheet metal experience desirable).
Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
Certificate III in Engineering (desirable).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
