We are currently looking for a Respirator Fit Tester based in Brisbane to support our growing Queensland operations.

No previous fit testing experience is required. We provide full training. What matters most is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.

Role Overview

As a Respirator Fit Tester, you will deliver respiratory and other testing services to organisations across Queensland.

You will play an important role in helping organisations protect workers from occupational health risks and comply with Australian safety standards.

The role involves both clinic-based testing in Brisbane and in office testing at client workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve:

Conducting quantitative respirator fit testing for P2/N95 respirators, half face respirators and full face respirators

Conducting Hearing Protection Device (HPD) fit testing

Conducting workplace audiometry assessments

Educating workers on the correct use, storage and maintenance of respiratory protective equipment and hearing protection devices

Traveling to client sites across Queensland, including occasional regional and interstate travel

Managing daily schedules, bookings and client coordination

Maintaining and calibrate testing equipment

Monitoring stock levels and order consumables as required

Delivering high-quality customer service

Building professional relationships with clients and industry partners

Completing daily reports and maintain accurate testing records

Safety Training and Education

Testers are trained across a range of services to support client needs.

This role involves a mixture of office-based testing and working on-site in a range of environments, including construction sites and healthcare settings.

Testers must be comfortable working in active workplaces and following site safety requirements.

Testing is often conducted in busy, fast-paced environments, sometimes with large groups of workers waiting to be tested. The ability to balance efficiency with excellent customer service is essential.

Testers must remain calm, organised and professional while ensuring each individual receives clear guidance and a positive testing experience.

Training Provided

No previous experience in fit testing or workplace health testing is required.

Successful candidates will receive full training in respiratory fit testing and additional workplace health services, including audiometry, spirometry and hearing protection fit testing.

We look for candidates with professionalism, reliability and a willingness to learn.

Travel

The role involves regular travel throughout Queensland. Some days may involve early starts, driving to client sites or occasional flights for regional work.

Candidates should have their own car and be comfortable with travel and flexible working locations.
