Our client B & P GROUP PTY LTD t/a Accent Aluminium Windows & Doors is looking for a skilled Glaziar to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Determining the type, size and thickness of glass required for residential and commercial glazing projects.
•Measuring, marking and cutting glass accurately in accordance with specifications and technical drawings.
•Inspecting glass sheets and aluminium framing components for defects or damage before fabrication and installation.
•Positioning glass safely on padded tables or in jigs to facilitate accurate cutting and handling.
•Cutting, shaping and finishing glass using specialised glazing tools and equipment.
•Separating cut glass sections and removing excess material using appropriate hand tools and glass pliers.
•Smoothing, polishing and finishing glass edges using belt sanders, polishing wheels and other finishing equipment.
•Installing glass into aluminium windows, doors, shopfronts, partitions, balustrades, shower screens and other glazing systems.
•Applying glazing compounds, rubber gaskets,



sealants and glazing beads to ensure secure, weatherproof and high-quality installations.
•Removing and replacing damaged or broken glass while preserving the integrity of surrounding frames and structures.
•Inspecting completed glazing work to ensure compliance with Australian Standards, workplace safety requirements and company quality standards.
•Maintaining glazing tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, secure and productive condition.
Eligibility Criteria:
•A relevant AQF Certificate III in Certificate III in Glass and Glazing.
•In the absence of formal qualifications, a minimum of three (3) years of full time, relevant work experience as a Glazier, demonstrating trade-level competency consistent with ANZSCO skill level requirements.
•Proven 1 year of experience in performing structural and general Glazing work and executing work independently.
•Proficiency in using a range of hand tools and power tools relevant to Glazier.
•Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of autonomy and trade judgment, including:
