About The Role
We have an chance for a lawyer (1–2 year PQE) or associate (2–4 year PQE) to join our Health team on a full‐time basis.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
Defending claims for negligence against doctors, nurses, hospitals, and health services
Gathering medical evidence, investigating liability, and assessing the quantum of the claim
Prospects to assist in coronial inquests/investigations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent) and a current Recent South Wales practising certificate




Experience in defendant medical negligence litigation and coronial inquests
Experience managing litigated matters across a variety of jurisdictions
Client‐facing experience, with the ability to understand and manage client needs
A commercial approach, with the ability to articulate advice clearly and negotiate effectively
Excellent technical skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload
