Workforce International are seeking Trades Assistants for ongoing works in the Kurri Kurri area. As a Trades Assistant, you will support the construction, assembly and modification of production and manufacturing equipment & facilities. This is an excellent chance to get in on the ground floor with one of Australia's premier precast companies and progress into a role in manufacturing.
About the role:
$37.07 - $40.97/hour + OT
ASAP start for the right person
Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday shifts
Casual role with potential for permanency for the right candidate
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting tradespeople on site as required
- Operating hand and power tools such as grinders, drills, and saws.
- General site cleanup and waste management
- Materials handling, loading and unloading, and ensuring the right gear is in the right place
- Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
A successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a Trades Assistant role (or similar)
- Be mechanically minded
- Ability to satisfy pre-employment medical including D&A; screening
- OHS White Card
- Reliable transport
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Positive problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions
