This role encompasses all activities involving planning maintenance and associated capital works. High degree of communication between supervisor and maintenance groups on issues related to operations and deliver work plans for protected and reliable plant operation.
About the role:
You will deliver high quality workflow management processes, prioritise task response planning, scheduling, budget preparation, reporting and provide technical support when required to the maintenance team. This team includes trades, apprentices and labourers with various levels of experience.
- Perform maintenance job & project planning, trades supervision, materials ordering, scheduling, master data management and reporting for the engineering team.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement, RCFA and Reliability programs as directed.
- Ensure the maintenance plan contains specific and relevant documentation and that the documents presented to the maintenance teams are allowing easy execution.
- Communicate daily with relevant staff to obtain feedback on the planning and scheduling elements to incorporate this feedback into the planning function with a CI approach.
- Maintains and updates PM routines in the CMMS under consultation with the Area engineer and relevant stakeholders.
- Leads and contributes to the workflow management processes on site and ensures to engage others to educate them to do the same.
We are looking for:
- Appropriate qualifications or experience with Trades background (Fitter or Boilermaker preferred)
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Asset Life Cycle Management & all Reliability related processes.
- Good computer skills and experience in CMMS master data management.
- Commitment and outstanding attitude to safety and workplace culture.
- Teamwork and willingness to co-operatively share knowledge and expertise.
- Willingness to be hands on and use trade skills when required
- Sound problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
