We are seeking a Towing Dispatch Operation Controller to join Collisioncare Towing Pty Ltd in Belmore, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial operational role in managing and coordinating our towing dispatch services. As Towing Dispatch Operation Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of towing operations, ensuring that customer requests are processed swiftly and that our fleet is utilised effectively. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliable roadside assistance and towing services across the region.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate our clients incoming requests for towing and roadside assistance services
- Dispatch towing vehicles and operators to locations in a timely and efficient manner, optimising route planning and resource allocation
- Monitor the status of active jobs and provide real-time updates to customers and field teams
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch operations, including job details, vehicle assignments, and completion times
- Communicate with towing operators to clarify job requirements, provide directions and support troubleshooting
- Manage radio and communication systems to ensure clear and constant contact with field teams
- Prioritise jobs based on urgency, customer tier, and resource availability
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction with service delivery
- Monitor fleet vehicle availability and alert management to maintenance or breakdown issues
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operation reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency and service quality

What we are looking for

- Proven experience in dispatch operations, ideally in towing, roadside assistance, or emergency response services
- Strong knowledge of road transport operations and logistics management




- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise effectively under pressure
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, operators and management
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, computer systems and communication technologies
- Ability to remain calm and composed when handling challenging situations and difficult customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make sound decisions quickly
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
- Basic understanding of vehicle types, towing capabilities and road safety regulations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Valid Australian driver's licence (preferred)
- Customer service experience or training (advantageous)
