We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst (Cloud) to be assigned to a
Future Setting Establishment Project
and will also work across the Cloud Services work stream as required. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test cases and plans to validate that defined public cloud configuration is in place, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) flows deploy as expected and that automated build, release, deployment pipelines operate as expected within the new secure cloud setting.
You will be focused purely on infrastructure and platform-level verification (IaaS and PaaS) with core responsibilities focusing on validating the controls and configuration implemented within the cloud platform including compliance with the ISM controls alongside platform resilience and automation.
You MUST possess a minimum of an NV1 security clearance and be able to work in Canberra 3 days per week to be considered for this position.
This role will ensure the reliable, secure, repeatable, and compliant delivery of cloud services to enable cloud governance & security to operate at scale with cloud guardrails in place by default:
Design, implement,



and execute test cases and plans to validate CI/CD pipelines and cloud configuration to ensure secure and repeatable infrastructure platform and solution deployments,
Develop and execute test coverage for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to verify correct provisioning and configuration of cloud resource, solution and workplace deployments,
Embed security testing practices, including security testing, automated regression, and integration testing within delivery pipelines and project delivery cadence,
Validate environment & resource configuration management, version control artefacts, and release management processes through structured testing,
Monitor and report on test execution outcomes, pipeline reliability, system stability, and deployment quality to drive continuous improvement,
Collaborate with DevOps, cloud platform engineers, security, and network teams to ensure solutions are working in accordance with requirements and predefined success criterion.
Demonstrated experience testing major ICT Cloud Implementation projects or programs in a federal government setting and experience testing cloud configuration, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
