We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and drive operational performance.

Task & responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for: Managing the overall day-to-day operations of the Pizza Hut restaurant to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.

Planning, directing and coordinating retail operations to achieve sales, customer service and financial objectives. Monitoring sales performance, labour costs, food costs and operating expenses to maximise profitability. Managing inventory levels, ordering stock and ensuring adequate supply of food ingredients, packaging materials and restaurant consumables.

Implementing effective stock control procedures to minimise wastage and maintain inventory accuracy. Recruiting, training, supervising and mentoring restaurant employees to maintain high operational and customer service standards.



Preparing staff rosters and allocating resources to meet operational demands while managing labour costs effectively.

Monitoring employee performance and providing coaching, guidance and performance feedback. Ensuring compliance with Food Safety Standards, Workplace Health and Safety legislation, and Pizza Hut operational procedures. Resolving customer enquiries, complaints and service issues promptly and professionally.

Analysing sales reports and operational data to identify opportunities for improving business performance. Coordinating local promotional activities and supporting marketing initiatives to increase customer engagement and sales. Maintaining restaurant presentation, cleanliness, equipment maintenance and operational readiness.

Preparing operational reports and maintaining accurate business records. Liaising with suppliers, contractors and senior management to ensure smooth business operations.

Qualification & experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality Management or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant industry experience. 1-2 years of recent experience as a Retail Manager managing a retail store, quick service restaurant (QSR), or fast-food outlet. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Experience managing staff rosters, inventory, budgets and daily operations. Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. Good financial and commercial awareness.

Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. Knowledge of Australian food safety and workplace health and safety requirements. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Salary: $80000-85000
