Our Rockhampton team are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Technician / Electrician to join our close knit service team…. looking after our client base in the Rockhampton Region.

You won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll be out in the field, thinking on your feet, and building compliant fire safety systems that save lives.

Fire Alarm Technicians / Electricians undertake the following duties:

- Installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding on fire detection and fire protection systems across surface and underground infrastructure including, but not limited to, fire alarm detection systems, gas suppression systems and emergency warning systems.
- Interface testing between fire systems and other site systems (PLC, BMS, shutdown systems).
- Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/site policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all work aligns with contractual requirements and industry standards and is serviced to the highest standards.
- Complete service activities to guarantee timely and effective completion of tasks.




- Maintain effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and resolve site issues, implementing solutions and improvements to enhance overall operations.
- Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
- Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
- Liaising with customers, establishing professional and friendly relationships
- Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements

- Fire industry experience would be highly regarded
- Required QBCC Licencing or ability to obtain
