We are an established coffee roaster and wholesale supplier based on the Sunshine Coast. From our state-of-the-art roastery, we supply premium coffee, equipment and café solutions to customers across Australia.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team and support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial information and maintaining efficient financial processes.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our finance department. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone with a strong bookkeeping background who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

You will assist with a broad range of finance functions while developing your skills in month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial administration.

Key responsibilities include:

- Accounts Receivable processing and customer account management
- Payroll processing and payroll administration
- Payroll Tax and GST support
- Bank reconciliations
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end journals and reconciliations
- Preparing and collating financial information and reports
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding finance enquiries
- Assisting with continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
- Providing administrative support to the Finance Team as required





Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts or Bookkeeping role
- Sound understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll experience (preferred)
- Experience preparing bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Experience using SAP or another ERP/accounting system (preferred but not essential)
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, Diploma of Accounting, or equivalent practical experience
