The Wholesale Fruit Company is seeking a reliable, hardworking Delivery Driver to join our family-owned business. We offer a guaranteed minimum of 9 paid hours per week, with opportunities for up to 30 hours when additional shifts become available.

About the Role

This is a diverse, hands‑on position combining delivery driving with some warehouse work. You’ll be delivering fresh produce to customers throughout Brisbane while occasionally helping out our warehouse manager on‑site.

The role is active and involves walking, bending and general warehouse duties. While there is some manual handling, the position is not centred around heavy lifting. Mechanical aids are available where required, and the role primarily involves delivery driving with the occasional stock rotation, warehouse organisation, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

- Delivering fresh produce safely and on time to our customers
- Loading and unloading vehicles with care
- Completing delivery documentation accurately
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Assisting with stock rotation and warehouse organisation
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Following directions from the Warehouse Manager
- Complying with all workplace health and safety requirements

Hours

We guarantee a minimum of 9 paid hours per week, with additional shifts available (up to approximately 30 hours per week) for candidates who are available to work extra days when required.

A roster is provided each Friday for the following week.

Typical shifts include:

Every Monday (Guaranteed)

- 2:30am – approximately 11:30am
- Warehouse duties & delivery driving

Tuesday

- 4:30am – 8:30am
- Warehouse duties

Thursday and/or Friday

- 4:30am – 8:30am
- Warehouse duties

Every Second Saturday





- 3:30am – approximately 8:30am
- Delivery driving

Finish times may vary depending on delivery volumes and traffic. If your run finishes earlier, you will clock off when you return to the warehouse. Any additional hours worked are paid accordingly.

What We’re Looking For

- Current Australian Driver Licence with a safe driving record
- Warehouse experience
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out general warehouse duties, including regular walking, bending and light to moderate manual handling
- Delivery driving or multi-drop experience (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Current Blue Card (successful applicant must apply, and we’ll reimburse them)
