Business Development Manager position in the Mackay branch

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement.
- Planning, completing and reporting on sales activity, objectives and targets.
- Working closely with the internal sales team to share market feedback, coordinate opportunities and support sales performance.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across existing and prospective customers.




- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to convert opportunities into sustainable business growth.
- Maintaining consistent follow-up throughout the sales process and managing opportunities through to completion.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated, goal-driven self-starter with a strong background in sales and a sound understanding of business development strategies.

Experience within the mining, civil, industrial, or pipes, valves and fittings sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential. More importantly, the successful candidate will be confident, resilient and persistent, with the ability to build relationships, identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers.
