Delivery Driver and Warehousing – Furniture, Bedding & Lounges – Coffs Harbour

MacLeod’s Furniture, Beds R Us and La-Z-boy are a family owned business with stores in Coffs Harbour and Grafton.

We carry a wide range of bedroom and dining room furniture, mattresses from Sleepmaker and Sleepyhead, and lounges from quality brands like La-Z-boy, IMG and Zoletti.

Our Coffs Harbour stores are seeking an enthusiastic person to join the team as a delivery driver and warehouse role in a casual / part time position working Monday to Friday.

We need anapplicant who isa team player, is able to workclosely with thestore managers and hasan ability to adapt to different situations. He/she will beself-motivated, reliable, andwill demonstrate great organisational and time management skills.

Qualifications and Experience

- Ability to lift and carry heavy items of furniture and lounges in safe manner




- Some previous experience in a similar role is desired

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Driving truck for local deliveries
- Assembly and disassembly of furniture on the shop floor and in customers homes, as required
- Receive, check, load and unload stock
- General warehouse duties
- Staff monthly bonus
- Staff discounts on purchases
- Friendly and supportive team nature
- Prospect for full time employment for the right candidate

This is a hands-on, challenging role requiring someone who is enthusiastic and can work both in a team and autonomously. You need to be quick on your feet but must have a calm demeanour.
