Travelling Wind Farm Service Technician | Permanent Full-Time | Electrical Trades (3:1 Roster)
Are you ready to elevate your career in renewable energy? GE Vernova is seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our team as a Travelling Wind Farm Service Technician. In this pivotal role, you will provide critical operational support, technical leadership, and troubleshooting across our national wind farm fleet.

This is a high-autonomy, hands-on role for a qualified electrician who enjoys complex fault finding, high-voltage operations, and the opportunity to travel. You will act as a key interface between site management, engineering teams, and our clients, ensuring our turbines continue to power Australia’s sustainable future.
Flexible on location as to where you are based, anywhere along the East Coast of Australia!
What We’re Looking For?
- Minimum A-Grade Electrical License (or equivalent). Must be eligible/willing to act as the Nominated Qualified Supervisor for the company.
- Significant experience in the Onshore Wind sector or similar heavy industry (minimum 5 years preferred).
- Deep understanding of AC/DC circuits, circuit analysis, and experience in High Voltage (HV) switching and operations.
- Ability to climb wind turbines and perform physically demanding tasks at heights.
- Ability to travel on a 3:1 Roster across different wind farms around Australia
- High Voltage operating certificate (or ability to gain one); GWO, EWP, and Dogging/Rigging/Forklift tickets highly regarded.
