This is an prospect to work across large-scale, business-critical infrastructure, contributing to platform stability, modernisation and ongoing operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Administering and supporting enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
Managing VMware infrastructure, including ESXi, vCenter and the virtual machine lifecycle.
Delivering operating system upgrades, platform standardisation and lifecycle management initiatives.
Automating infrastructure processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Supporting secure, resilient and highly available enterprise infrastructure.
Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to continuously improve platform performance and reliability.
Qualifications




Minimum5 years' experiencein enterprise systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
Robust expertise inWindows Server or Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with exposure to both operating systems.
Hands-on experience managingVMwareenvironments, including ESXi, vCenter and virtual machine lifecycle management.
Proven experience delivering operating system upgrades, lifecycle management and platform standardisation projects.
Solid automation and scripting skills using technologies such asPowerShell, Python or Terraform.
Solid understanding of infrastructure security, networking and identity management.
Experience working within large enterprise or highly regulated environments.
Industry certifications such asVMware VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, Microsoft certifications or ITILare highly regarded.
