Global Talent Agency has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Podiatrist for our client,. The Podiatrist is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based podiatry services to elderly clients, NDIS participants, and community care recipients in clinic, home and community settings. The role supports clients to maintain mobility, independence, safety, and overall quality of life through comprehensive assessment, treatment, education, and preventative care.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive podiatry assessments and treatments to elderly clients, NDIS participants, and community care clients in home and community settings.
- Diagnose and manage foot, nail, skin, musculoskeletal, neurological, and circulatory conditions affecting the lower limbs.
- Deliver routine podiatry care including nail trimming, callus and corn reduction, diabetic foot care, wound care, and ulcer management.
- Conduct biomechanical assessments and prescribe or modify orthotics, footwear, and other podiatric aids where appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans in line with evidence-based practice and person-centred care principles.
- Educate clients, carers,
and support staff regarding foot care, mobility, falls prevention, diabetes management, and safe self-care practices.
- Monitor client progress and maintain accurate clinical records, reports, and documentation in accordance with professional and organisational requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including General Practitioners, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated client care.
- Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, infection control procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, and all relevant aged care and NDIS legislation.
- Maintain professional registration, mandatory certifications, and continuing professional development requirements.
- Travel to client homes and community locations across designated service areas to provide mobile podiatry services.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, team meetings, and other duties within the scope of the role as directed by management.
