Are you a people-focused HR professional who enjoys helping businesses build strong teams and positive workplace cultures? We are seeking an experienced Part-Time HR Manager to support our leadership team across all areas of human resources, employee relations, compliance, and people development.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with business leaders to shape workplace culture, improve employee engagement, and ensure best-practice HR processes across the organisation.

This role is a 16-hour per week position, typically worked across 2 days per week. However, we offer flexibility for the successful candidate to spread their hours across 3 shorter days if preferred.

Polesy Commercial: Provides an extensive range of Bed Linen, Bedding, Towelling, and related products tailored for commercial accommodation needs. This includes applications in commercial laundries, linen hire services, facilities management, and hospitality accommodation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage employee onboarding, induction programs and new starter documentation.

Prepare and issue employment contracts, onboarding forms and employment variations.

Coordinate recruitment activities with Directors,



Managers and external recruitment partners.

Support hiring managers in sourcing, selecting and onboarding the right people for the business.

Manage annual performance review processes, templates and development planning initiatives.

Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters including grievances, complaints and workplace investigations.

Coordinate disciplinary processes, formal warnings and performance management documentation.

Manage employment terminations, including performance-based terminations and redundancy processes.

Ensure all employee records, HR documentation and personnel files are accurately maintained and confidentially managed.

Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current employment legislation.

Drive compliance initiatives including annual workplace training programs covering sexual harassment, anti-bullying and workplace conduct.

Monitor workforce planning requirements and support succession planning initiatives.

Manage leave liabilities and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.

Conduct remuneration and market reviews to ensure roles remain competitive and aligned with market conditions.

Support employee engagement, recognition and reward initiatives that strengthen company culture.

Provide HR advice and coaching to Directors and Managers on people-related matters.





Maintain awareness of employment law changes and ensure ongoing compliance across the business.

Assist with organisational development, team effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

An experienced HR professional with strong generalist human resources experience.

Confident working directly with business owners, managers and employees across all levels of the organisation.

Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements and HR best practices.

Experienced in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Professional, approachable and able to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.

Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leadership.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and HR administration systems.

Experience within a medium-sized business environment is highly regarded.

Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline preferred.
