This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Hemmant office. Due to the nature of the role, working from home is not available.

South East Queensland Hauliers (SEQH) is a family-owned and operated wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant, just minutes from the Port of Brisbane. With operations across three Queensland sites and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Day Shift Allocator to join our busy operations team based at our Hemmant site.

About the Role

As the Day Shift Allocator, you will coordinate FCL container movements across Brisbane and surrounding regions, ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, compliance, and exceptional service to both drivers and customers.

You will be responsible for managing daily transport operations, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring freight movements are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities





- Allocate sideloaders and coordinate daily fleet movements.

- Manage container collections, deliveries, de-hires, and slot bookings.

- Liaise with drivers, customers, workshop staff, and booking teams.

- Monitor fleet movements and respond to operational changes throughout the day.

- Maintain Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance.

- Approve driver timesheets and monitor attendance.

- Complete operational paperwork and data entry accurately.

- Assist with fleet optimisation and daily scheduling requirements.

- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous transport allocation experience is essential.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- The ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.

- Strong customer service skills and a team-focused attitude.

- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

- The ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced workplace.

- Able to work from our Hemmant office on a full-time basis.

- Available to work an approximate roster of 4:00am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday.
