Due to the ongoing growth of our business, we are looking for an enthusiastic CNC / Beam Saw Operator to join our team located at Wetherill Park.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Beam Saw Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating beam saw machinery to precisely cut materials according to technical drawings and cutting lists.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation: Safely set up, operate, and maintain beam saw machinery
- Precision Cutting: Interpret cutting lists and technical drawings to optimize sequences for maximum material efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect panels for defects before and after cutting to ensure all finished products meet quality standards.




- Material Handling: Manage the receipt, inspection, and organisation of sheet materials; use a forklift to load and unload machinery where required.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing saw blades, and managing dust extraction systems.
- Safety: Adhere to all WHS requirements and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: Proven experience operating a beam saw or similar panel-cutting machinery.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read work orders and technical drawings with high accuracy.
- Licensing: A current Forklift Licence (LF) is highly desirable for material handling tasks.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment.
- Troubleshooting: Basic knowledge of solving chipping problems or clearing machine limit switch errors.
