The Role

You'll handle sheet metal mould fabrication and basic machining with a high level of autonomy. Working to schedule, you'll maintain quality standards and bring the experience and discipline needed to keep the workshop running smoothly.

What a typical day looks like:

- Work from drawings and schedules to complete fabrication tasks independently
- Perform sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, forming, welding, and finishing




- Carry out structural and pipe fabrication where required (experience dependent)
- Operate workshop machinery, including lathes, mills, and general fabrication equipment
- Inspect your work and maintain quality standards
- Identify process improvements and raise them with the team

What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience

- Trade qualified — Certificate III in Metal Fabrication or equivalent
- At least 5 years of hands-on fabrication experience
- Confident and competent with GMAW/GTAW
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Basic machining experience with a lathe, mill, or similar equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
