We are a family-owned meat wholesaler supplying carton meat products to retail butchers and similar businesses. We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Junior Warehouse Assistant to join our team and support our day-to-day warehouse operations.
Full time – Monday to Friday
Hours: 5:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Morningside, Brisbane
You will work alongside our Warehouse Manager and warehouse team, assisting with daily warehouse tasks while learning all aspects of warehouse operations in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading and loading trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Receive and check incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
- Palletise products and assist with dispatch.
- Help maintain accurate stock levels and keep the warehouse organised.
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Complete basic paperwork and use computer systems for simple warehouse tasks.
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
- Work as part of a team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- A current forklift licence is a must.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments.
- Basic computer skills.
