An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Estimator to join our Commercial Construction team in Launceston or Devonport, in a newly created role that combines project leadership with estimating oversight across the full project lifecycle. About the Role:

Based in either Launceston or Devonport, this position reports to the Northern Construction Business Unit Manager.

You’ll lead the planning, estimating and delivery of complex commercial construction projects, from initial tender and estimate through to completion, providing expert commercial input and a client-focused approach at every stage.

Day-to-day, you’ll oversee the preparation of accurate tenders, estimates and cost plans, manage client relationships as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, and develop and monitor project budgets, programmes and cost control across your portfolio.

You’ll also oversee contract management, provide commercial and technical input into tender proposals and procurement strategy, and lead project handovers that build long-term client relationships.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead and mentor project and estimating staff, helping to build capability and foster a culture consistent with our values, while ensuring QHSE compliance is embedded across all projects.

About You:





You’ll bring extensive experience delivering complex construction projects (ideally greater than $10m), along with a Diploma in Building and Construction, Business or Project Management, or an equivalent tertiary qualification in construction, architecture or estimating.

Strong commercial acumen and a sound understanding of tendering processes, construction contracts and subcontract agreements will be essential, along with demonstrated programming and planning skills.

You’ll be a natural leader — someone who is motivated to mentor and develop others, can manage a diverse range of stakeholders with confidence, and brings strong numeracy, analytical and IT skills to the role.

A current driver's licence and White Card are required.
