Casual OSHC Educator – FUNdurba Kids’ Club

Murrumba Downs
$33–$43 per hour (depending on age and experience)
Flexible casual shifts | Before & After School + Vacation Care

FUNdurba Kids’ Club is a community-based OSHC service, and we’re looking for reliable, down-to-earth Casual Educators to join our team.

If you enjoy working with children, being part of a supportive team, and want flexible hours around study, family, or other commitments, this could be a great fit.

About the role

You’ll be supporting children in a safe, engaging environment, helping run activities, building relationships, documenting and evaluating the learning programme, while being part of a team that genuinely cares about the service and its families.

What the role looks like

- Before School Care shifts (approx. 7.00am – 9:00am)
- After School Care shifts (approx. 2:15pm – 5:00 to 6:00pm)




- Vacation/ Holiday Care & Student Free days (approx. 5.5hrs between 6.30am and 6pm)
- Average 10–15 hours per week, with opportunity for more
- Flexibility is key, but we aim to provide as much consistency as possible for the continuity of care

This role could suit:

- University students studying education, teaching or allied health
- Someone returning to the workforce
- Anyone wanting meaningful, flexible work in a supportive environment

What you’ll need

- Certificate III, Diploma, currently studying (or willing to work towards completion)
- Mandatory current Paid Blue Card,
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A general understanding of the National Quality Framework, including ‘My Time, Our Place’, National Quality Standards, Law and Regulations (or willingness to learn)
- A genuine interest in working with children and being part of a positive team environment
