Workfast is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client, based in Acacia Ridge. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation within the manufacturing/steel industry and play a key role in delivering site‑specific steel solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and respond to incoming quote requests, identify new product/service opportunities, and coordinate workflow with the Engineering team.
- Address and manage potential design challenges in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams.
- Prepare accurate sales quotations, source external supplier quotes when required, develop comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs), and support the Sales team with technical documentation.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding quotes and submitted orders to ensure clarity, address questions, and drive timely decision‑making.
- Prepare detailed documentation for order initiation (including BOMs and manufacturing drawings) and support Sales Administration with order processing.




- Liaise with the Manufacturing team to ensure orders are on schedule and address any production‑related issues.

About You

- Experience in project estimation, commercial support, or related project roles.
- Background in customer service, technical sales, or project coordination within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication, cable ladder systems, or general engineering principles.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, dynamic workplaces managing multiple requests and deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems (QAD is preferred).
