Do you enjoy building stable, secure and high-performing infrastructure environments?
We're looking for a Mid-Level Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join a collaborative technology team supporting enterprise infrastructure across a large, complex environment. You'll play an important role in maintaining core systems, improving operational performance and ensuring the technology platform remains secure, reliable and available.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across servers, cloud technologies, networking and enterprise infrastructure while partnering with a broad range of technical teams.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll help maintain and improve enterprise infrastructure by:
- Administering and supporting Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services
- Managing Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file services
- Supporting cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Monitoring system performance, availability and capacity to ensure reliable operations
- Performing system upgrades, patching and routine maintenance activities
- Investigating and resolving infrastructure incidents and technical issues
- Supporting backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes
- Working with networking, security and application teams to deliver infrastructure improvements
- Assisting with infrastructure projects, system migrations and technology upgrades
- Maintaining documentation,
operational procedures and technical standards
What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for someone with solid infrastructure experience, a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering reliable technology services.
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and hybrid cloud environments
Exposure to Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services
Experience monitoring system health, performance and availability
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders
Highly Regarded
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation
- Exposure to PowerShell scripting and automation
- Experience with backup and recovery platforms
- Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and security best practices
- Experience working within ITIL or structured IT service environments
