The Position
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team in Bathurst. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate dispatch and freight activities, manage logistics schedules, and support the smooth movement of materials throughout the supply chain. Working collaboratively with the Stores team, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, timely stock movements, and efficient warehouse operations while contributing to the delivery of outstanding customer outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or production environment, supported by a strong background in stores, warehouse, and logistics operations. You will possess proven expertise in coordinating domestic and international freight, be highly proficient in ERP systems, and have a solid understanding of manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory control, and material flow processes
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch activities, transport bookings, and freight movements to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Optimise freight schedules, routes, load utilisation, and delivery performance while managing urgent deliveries and disruptions.
- Coordinate domestic and international logistics, including import/export documentation, freight quotations, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor freight performance and costs, manage NCRs and reconciliations, and investigate variances.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Stores team, ensuring accurate inventory transactions,
receipting, stock transfers, and material issuing.
- Support stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare reports, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
About You
- Previous experience working in a Stores, Warehouse, or Supply Chain environment.
- Confident in using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems for reporting, scheduling, and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating domestic freight operations.
- Proven experience managing international logistics, imports, and exports.
- Strong computer literacy with experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent organisational and scheduling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of inventory control processes and stock management.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
