M&M; Lawyers (mmpcl.com.au) is a boutique Brisbane CBD firm specialising in property and commercial law across Queensland, with a strong conveyancing practice covering both residential and commercial transactions. We're in a genuine growth phase and we're hiring an experienced conveyancer to grow with us.
You'll take ownership of a primarily residential conveyancing caseload, managing files from contract receipt through to settlement. You'll have the autonomy to manage your files day-to-day, with the support and supervision of an experienced practitioner and close-knit team behind you. From time to time, you'll also assist the team with commercial conveyancing matters as needed.
This is genuinely a long-term role. We want someone ready to take ownership, help us grow the practice, and grow alongside us — with genuine career progression and real opportunities as the firm expands. We're not hiring to fill a seat; we're hiring someone to build something with us.
About you
- 4+ years' hands-on Queensland conveyancing experience
- Strong residential conveyancing background, with the capability to assist on commercial matters when required
- Mature and self-assured — you can hold your own with clients, agents, brokers, and other parties
- Able to run matters independently from contract through to settlement
- Robust working knowledge of REIQ contracts and standard special conditions
- Hands-on experience with Smokeball and PEXA
- Client-focused at your core — you set a high bar for client experience, and you hold yourself to it
- A team player who takes pride in their work and owns outcomes
