John West Logistics is a major distribution company specializing in contract logistics. We operate on the east coast of Australia and in Current Zealand. We are looking to employ an experienced Contract or Operations Manager on the southside of Brisbane.

The successful applicants will have a background in Operational Management within the transport industry with at least five years experience running a dedicated fleet of over 20 vehicles across several shifts. You will be required to engage drivers and your operations team.

You must be well-versed in:

- Fatigue and COR legislation
- Heavy Vehicle National Law
- NHVAS
- Load restraint
- Enforcement of safety procedures and processes
- EBA negotiations while fostering positive employee, client and company culture
- Financial reports and objectives
- Previous experience with over-dimensional loads will be highly regarded.
