We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning data into insights and helping drive business performance.

We're looking for a Planning & Performance Analyst to join our Finance team on a 4-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis, partnering with stakeholders across the business to help inform decision‑making and deliver meaningful financial insights.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and influencing outcomes through strong financial analysis.

What you'll do

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across various business functions
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare monthly reporting packs and performance insights for key stakeholders
- Analyse operational and capital expenditure against budgets
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and decision-support reporting
- Partner with leaders across the business to provide commercial and financial guidance
- Assist with board reporting and business performance reviews

What you'll bring

- Experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;),



commercial finance, or financial analyst role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets
- Experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Workday, Power Apps, or similar
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification will be highly regarded
- Retail, consumer, or multi‑site industry experience is advantageous
