About you:

We are looking for a team player who is self-driven and possesses the following skills and experience:

- Previous Mining/Conveyor/Heavy Industry experience is highly desirable
- Experience in wiring electrical switchboards
- Forklift Licence (desirable, but not essential)
- Intermediate level knowledge of safety requirements, safe work practices for performing electrical work to AS standards and to electrical compliance regulations
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as required

Your role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trade qualified licenced and experienced Electrician to join the TEAM at the workshop in Somersby to apply trade knowledge and expertise to the manufacture, maintain, service and repair of high-quality electrical equipment related to mining conveyor systems.

This is a workshop-based role and is a 6-month fixed term position responsible for assembly, wiring, testing, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment ensuring safety,



statutory and quality compliance within our electrical workshop.
