Wonderkids Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Service Manager / Nominated Supervisor to lead our well-established early learning service in Walkerston.

/n

Wonderkids has proudly supported children and families within the local community for many years. Our service is known for its strong community connections, meaningful relationships with children and families, and a long-standing team of dedicated educators.

About the Role

/n

As the Service Manager and Nominated Supervisor, you will provide strong leadership and operational oversight across the service while continuing to strengthen our positive culture and community reputation.

/n

You will be responsible for:

/n

/n

- Leading, supporting and inspiring a wonderful team of educators

/n

- Building strong and respectful relationships with children, families and the local community

/n

- Maintaining high standards of education, care, compliance and child safety

/n

- Supporting educators to deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences

/n

- Driving service occupancy, family engagement and community partnerships

/n

- Supporting the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement journey

/n

- Ensuring the service operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework, relevant legislation and organisational policies

/n

- Creating a positive workplace where educators feel valued, supported and motivated

/n

About You

/n

We are looking for an experienced early childhood leader who is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children, families and educators.

/n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

/n

/n

- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor

/n

- A Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

/n





- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and relevant legislation

/n

- A strong understanding of child safety, child protection and safeguarding responsibilities

/n

- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team

/n

- Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills

/n

- The ability to confidently manage service operations, compliance, staffing and occupancy

/n

- A genuine passion for early childhood education and community engagement

/n

- A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one

/n

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications or the ability to obtain them

/n/n
