Asset Integrity Supervisor / Coordinator | 8/6 Roster Lead a Major Asset Integrity Program at One of Queensland's Premier Mining Operations

Sabre Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Asset Integrity Supervisor / Coordinator to join a major Asset Integrity Program.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a client-side leadership role where you'll be responsible for coordinating and supervising contractors delivering critical asset integrity works across an operational mining environment. Working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Execution Leads, you'll play a key role in ensuring remediation works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll be joining a newly mobilised contract, providing the opportunity to influence how the program is delivered from the outset while building strong relationships with site stakeholders and contractor partners.

About the Role

As the Asset Integrity Supervisor / Coordinator, you'll lead the day-to-day execution of an Asset Integrity Program, coordinating contractors and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with site standards.

The role will involve managing multiple work fronts across structural remediation and maintenance activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, contractor performance, quality assurance and schedule delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with both operational and project teams and can confidently build relationships while managing contractor performance in a live mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and supervise contractors delivering Asset Integrity works.
- Lead execution activities across structural remediation, mechanical works, scaffolding and protective surface coating programs.




- Coordinate structural steel remediation, corrosion remediation, protective coating applications and associated remediation activities.
- Drive a positive safety culture while maintaining high standards of execution, productivity and workmanship.
- Develop and manage execution schedules to optimise workforce utilisation and project delivery.
- Coordinate labour, equipment and contractor resources to maximise productivity across multiple work fronts.
- Monitor contractor performance, productivity and schedule adherence, providing regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, manage and escalation technical, safety and schedule risks.
- Ensure all works comply with engineering requirements, project specifications and quality standards.
- Verify QA/QC inspections, documentation, test records and as-built mark-ups are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Coordinate execution activities through planned shutdowns and outage windows where required.
- Provide technical guidance to contractors while engaging Project Engineers or Subject Matter Experts when necessary.
- Attend and lead contractor pre-start meetings, ensuring hazards, controls, permits and daily work activities are appropriately reviewed.
- Lead investigations into project-related incidents and implement corrective actions where required.
- Build robust working relationships with operations personnel, contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role,



you'll ideally bring:

- Experience supervising or coordinating contractors within mining, heavy industrial, infrastructure or brownfield construction environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering structural remediation, construction, maintenance or asset integrity programs.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspections, quality documentation and engineering standards.
- Experience working with protective coatings, corrosion remediation or surface protection projects will be highly regarded.
- Experience managing multiple contractors and concurrent work fronts in an operational environment.
- Strong understanding of contractor management, risk management and safe work execution.
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to influence contractor performance without direct line management authority.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted working relationships.
- Commitment to delivering work safely while maintaining quality, productivity and schedule performance.
