We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our growing Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. If you have a robust background maintaining heavy mining equipment and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

/n

In this rostered role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repairs and diagnostics of a large-scale mining fleet, working alongside a supportive team committed to safety and operational excellence. Working a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, you will primarily maintain and repair:

/n

/n

- Caterpillar 6040/RH170 Excavators

/n

- Hitachi EX5600-6 & EX5600-7 Excavators

/n

- Liebherr R9800 Excavators

/n

- 12% Superannuation paid on all hours

/n

Previous experience on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr Excavators within a mining environment is highly regarded.

The Successful Applicant, Will Have

/n

/n

- Relevant Trade Qualification

/n

- Experience working Caterpillar 6040/RH170, Hitachi EX5600-6 & EX5600-7 & Liebherr R9800

/n

- Coal Board Medical

/n

- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment

/n

- BMA Core Induction

/n

- Working at Heights, Confined Space, GTA & EWP (Desirable)

/n

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

/n

- Problem solving and decision-making skills

/n

- Great communication and interpersonal skills

/n

- Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients

/n

- Uncompromising attitude to safety

/n

- Ability to meet site requirements
