About the Role

We're looking for a reliable Driver / Dockhand to join our Air Freight team in Launceston.

This is a full-time permanent afternoon shift role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 1:30pm – 9:00pm, and Friday 1:00pm – 8:30pm.

In this hands-on role, you'll complete local deliveries and pickups, load and unload freight, operate a forklift, and help keep our air freight operation running safely and efficiently.

- Complete local deliveries and pickups

- Operate a forklift
- Assist with warehouse and dock duties
- Prepare freight for air transport
- Complete vehicle and equipment checks
- Follow safety and aviation security procedures
- Work as part of a busy team to meet daily deadlines

What You'll Bring





- LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- MR Licence (desirable) or willingness to obtain
- Experience in driving, warehousing or freight (preferred)
- Strong focus on safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude

Aviation Requirements

As this role is based within an air freight operation, you'll need to:

- Be able to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Pass the required security and background checks
- Comply with CASA, CISC and aviation security requirements
