Quilly is looking for a proactive NDIS Quality & Compliance Officer to join our team for a contracted postion for 6 months with a view to extending for the right person.

The Role: How You'll Make an Impact

Reporting to the management team, you will be the custodian of our NDIS compliance framework. You won't just monitor risks; you will be a champion for quality, helping our teams understand the why behind the regulations.

Your key responsibilities will center around three core pillars:
/n
1. NDIS Framework & Audit Readiness
/n
Lead the charge on internal audits, ensuring our SIL houses remain fully aligned with NDIS Practice Standards.
/n
Maintain, review, and streamline our policy and procedure registers so they are accessible and practical.
/n
Keep your finger on the pulse of legislative changes,
translating NDIS Commission updates into actionable steps for the business.

1. Incident, Risk & Quality Management
/n
Oversee the reporting systems for incidents, complaints, and medication compliance.
/n
Investigate compliance gaps with empathy and curiosity, tracking trends to build robust risk mitigation strategies.
/n
Maintain evidence files so that external NDIS accreditation audits are a breeze.
/n
1. Staff Empowerment & Training
/n
Act as the go-to subject matter expert, guiding managers and support staff through compliance processes.
/n
Coordinate and track mandatory training requirements to ensure our workforce remains highly qualified.
/n
What We Are Looking For
/n
To thrive in this role, you will need a strong background in NDIS governance and Practice Standards
/n
Proven experience working within NDIS governance, quality assurance, or compliance.
/n
Deep knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and the Quality and Safeguards Framework.
/n
Exceptional communication skills—you can explain complex legislation in plain, engaging English.
/n
Strong organisational skills with a razor‐sharp eye for detail.
/n
Proficiency with G-Suite, Mondays and CRM's
/n
A formal qualification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Community/Disability Services.
/n
Prior experience preparing an organization for an NDIS mid‐term or recertification audit.
/n
