The Northern Territory Government Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to take on the role of Manager Fisheries Operations in Darwin. This is a rare opportunity to work at the frontline of fisheries management—where science, regulation and real-world operations come together to protect and enhance valuable aquatic resources.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the delivery of fisheries operations across a diverse and complex setting, translating policy into practical outcomes and ensuring effective, contemporary regulatory approaches are in place. Working closely with scientists, policy specialists and compliance teams, you will help guide data-informed decisions that support sustainable fisheries and responsible resource use.
