Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the perk of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We are looking for an Electrical Planner – Underground who holds a AQF Certificate III as a Cable Jointer, Linesman or Electrician with knowledge of the underground electrical network to join our team.
The role is responsible to plan and scope the works program and internal service requests (distribution defects) to define detailed work packages, identifying material and procurement requirements, specifying contractor resources and competencies, and ensuring all activities are sequenced to minimise network disruption while maximising customer satisfaction and system reliability.
