Motor Mechanic – Full Time

About the Role

Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Albany Creek is looking for an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our friendly and professional team.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, helping ensure our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, tyre fitting and rotations, and general vehicle servicing.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and testing to accurately identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with workplace health and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly communicating vehicle issues and repair recommendations when required.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain an efficient and productive workshop.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised qualification in Automotive Mechanics.
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic,



ideally within a busy workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and professional service.
- A current manual driver's licence.
- A positive attitude, robust work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
